Falling can pose a serious health risk to older adults in acute, home, and institutional environments¦Using the Hendrich II Fall Risk Model, this DVD demonstrates how to assess patients for strength and mobility, extrinsic and intrinsic fall risk factors, and cognition.  It also stresses the importance of assessing risk factors when conditions change, as well as, how to reduce fall risks by properly interpreting the assessment, and applying appropriate interventions.  (Part of a 28-DVD training series.)
