Abuse: The Resident’s Perspective
Make sure your staff hears this message. Residents report what they feel is abuse and their list of concerns may surprise your staff. Not only do their comments include the obvious, but also many things you would not think of unless you were a resident. From their perspective, negative attitudes, lack of respect, waiting for care, and even staff not wearing nametags are unacceptable. These residents give you the perspective of what it’s like to be on the other side of care. Shot on-location at The Roland Park Place and Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.
